Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Experience hiring within the technology, creative, or gaming industry will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in an HR role, with a strong understanding of HR practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in HRIS and recruitment systems.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (Primary Responsibility)
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval to offer acceptance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high quality candidates across creative, technical, and production roles.
- Proactively source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, industry network, referrals, and university partnerships.
- Screen and assess candidates to ensure both technical suitability and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate structured evaluation processes with hiring managers.
- Advise hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarking, and hiring best practices.
- Manage offers preparation, negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
- Maintain and update recruitment data within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure the hiring metrics are tracked.
Onboarding & HR Operations
- Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding and orientation programmes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Prepare employment-related documentation (offer letters, confirmation letters, contract renewals, etc.).
- Support probation tracking and confirmation processes.
HR Policy & Employee Support
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide HR advisory support to employees and line managers on HR-related matters.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
- Coordinate training and development programmes when required.
